Keeping it real as I was reflecting on this picture the thought was looking up and seeing Jesus! I was talking to a friend who shared how they eventually do what the Lord wants. I thought why would you not obey Him if you knew what He wanted you to do.
Then, I remembered in my rebellion there was a time when I knew what He wanted me to do. But I didn’t care anymore. So, I did what I wanted to do. My Dad always tells me even to this day be sure to chose wisely because you will have consequence for your choices.
My testimony of being sold out then walking away then returning to the God who is love and who is in love with me. Now, I can see clearly in my disobedience how miserable life was. Walking in obedience is walking in Favor of God everyday!
Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
The only way this can happen is if we follow His leading. I understand like never before why He said, Obedience is better than Sacrifice. To give your best is to be quick to obey Him. There is nothing you can do or give that would compare to just being obedient.
The joy we feel when our children or grandchildren just obey is the Joy our Daddy God feels too. In my journey recently I have experienced a whole new level of hearing and obeying the leading of My Daddy God.
